        hi.

I recently moved my bunny from outdoors to indoors, and he smells REALLY bad. so I tried to research about giving bunnys baths and

some people say its fine and some people say NO. I don’t know what to do! I purchased a fragrance free hypoallergic shampoo.

and just wondering what peoples thoughts are about bathing. If you have bathed your bunny can you answer these questions?

Should I even think about bathing?

was it stressful for the bunny?

what do you bathe them in?

And how do you dry them?

                        thank you

I wouldn’t do it if I were you. The bad smell might eventually go away on its own. The only time I’ve bathed my bunny was a butt bath bc he had diarrhea and that obviously had to be cleaned off. That alone was pretty stressful.

You can brush the fur out with corn starch or potato starch. You massage the starch into the fur, then brush/comb it out. It’s way less stressful than a full bath.

                Ditto Bam!! Cornstarch works great.

Why does your bunny smell bad? Is he litter box trained? Glad he moved indoors.
