Hi Moothebun! I’m going to edit your post to the default text size setting, due to the rule stated here: https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/125294/Default.aspx

As far as bunny presents, have you considered making homemade toys? Most bunnies love anything made out of cardboard, toilet roll tubes, paper bags, etc. If you want to buy some toys and treats, the Binky Bunny store has a wide variety of toys that my bunnies love and are a bit different from normal toys and treats you might find in a pet store.

This is what my bunnies want for christmas:
Morgana & Avalon – to be allowed to dig up the carpet.
Lancelot – free access to the entire house, and to be mommy’s lap-bunny. And to live single.
Guin – Food food food snuggle snuggle snuggle.
Each pair will get a new hidey hole box from binky bunny.

You can make hay cookies with cut-up hay (choose a soft type of hay and cut it finely with scissors), mashed banana and pellet “dust” (the dust in the bottom of the pellet bag) and/ or crushed pellets, add water to make it a “dough”. Bake at a very low temp for a couple of hours. I press the cookies hard between my palms so they stick together good and don’t crumble into little bits as they dry.

As Vanessa says, many bunnies like to destroy stuff , so cardboard houses etc are often appreciated. (Correction: It’s not called “destroy”. It’s called “bunstruct”.)

You know those egg-carton cardboard boxes used to support heavy-ish appliances in packaging – well I had one that was used in the bottom packaging of my dehumidifier. I gave the cardboard to Avalon and Morgana, because they are chewers and diggers. I realised a few weeks later that it’s gone. No evidence. All pooped out. Extra fiber…

I got lazy this year and just got Lily a bag of alfalfa to make her holiday meals extra special.

They sure do like alfalfa. I give mine a handful a week. The three grass-eating bunnies don’t like alfalfa. The bunny who was fed chocolate by his previous owners – loves alfalfa. They all loooove chickweed. I handle my lawn differently now that I have bunnies. I seed it with pasture mix so when I cut grass for them, I know it is decent food. I don’t kill the dandelion or chickweed. When I pick dandelion leaves, I pick half a bunch, to leave some on the plants 🙂 Such spoiled bunnies. My boyfriend says he would like to be reincarnated as one of my pet animals.

Our bunnies are getting thick stuffed tubes with bits of dried fruits stuffed inside. I gave them papaya, pineapple and dried apple. They usually only get these on special occasions. The jammie is getting a chew treat from the pet store. The cats got new collars, with jingle bells!
