Hello everyone! My name is Jenah and I am fairly new to rabbit keeping. I adopted this lil lady in August of this year

Her name is Dot, she is two years old, and she is a lionhead mix, but I call her Beans a lot because she loves to have green beans. Having a pet rabbit has been very fun with a couple of surprises. (first time I saw her head binky I thought she was having a seizure and rushed her to the vet..) I really want to learn as much as I can about rabbit care and talk to experienced rabbit owners, and I’m excited to join this community!

My other pets are two cats and five doves.

Hello and welcome to the BB Forums!

Dot is adorable! The first time I saw a full flop I thought my bun had an epileptic fit =)

Welcome! Dot is so adorable, I’m looking forward to getting to see more photos.

Five dogs sounds insane, I can barely handle one!

Thank you all for welcoming me! I’m glad to see I’m not the only one to make that kind of mistake ^^; Thankfully my vet is good humored and didn’t charge me full price for an unscheduled visit.

@Liv You’ve misread, I have five doves, not dogs. I doubt any single person would ever have the energy to keep up with five dogs. I feel a bit tired just thinking about it. Thankfully my birds are rather low energy. I have always been curious about how a dog will fare with a rabbit- do they get along well or do you have to keep them separated?

I have a dog, I had her when I got my buns. She gets along fine with them. She’s a German Shepherd and as such, she’s an easy dog to deal with.

Above is a pic from minutes ago. Yohio (the rabbit) looks pink on the pic  but in reality he is yellow =)

Oh wow, I really did. To answer your question, with my past bunnies both my labradoodles were very much enamored with them. My younger one would play tag with my lionhead, and the older one would become a very forgiving pillow. I thats not the same for all dogs, especially dogs with a hunting instincts, but my babies are pretty good with my bunnies.
