I’ve had my rabbit about two days now. She’s about two years old, and I let her free range outside of her cage most of the day. Tonight she was out of her cage, and I was lying on my bed with my laptop out, and for some reason, she suddenly just ran back into her cage and began thumping. With every small move I made, she would thump. She b=never did this before. Now i am on the floor in an attempt to show her I don’t wanna hurt her, but she is still in her cage. What should I do?

I would just leave her be and let her calm down. Bunnies will sometimes hear things we don’t and get spooked and start thumping. My buns do this occasionally. Make sure she has a hidey house in her cage where she can go to feel safe.
