The first time heidi got sick she did not eat and it sounded like she had gas. I treated her with baby has drops and but she was still the same. We went to the vet (10-16-15) and he did an X-ray saw no gas. He clipped a molar in the back because it had a spir and gave her a antibiotic that I gave her every 12 hours for 10 days. She started to eat normally again, but not as crazy as she used to.
Now today I woke up and came in to feed the rabbits and she had still a little food in her bowl from last night. I have more food but she did not stir it. I added some treat pellets, did not touch it. I gave her dried papaya and she did eat that. She drinks water normally and nibbles on only a little hay. I measured her temp and it was at 101.1. She has smallish poops, which I’m monitoring. I don’t hear any gas and her teeth are clipped. I have no idea what it is?! Should I start feeding her critical care?

What about hay? Veggies? Will she eat those?

Leafy greens freshly rinsed will give her both water and fiber, which is good for her, if she wants to eat that.

You can do a gentle tummy-massage in case her intestines are slowing down or there is a little bit of gas. Rabbits often feel better after a massage. sometimes they let out gas or some sticky poop. Here’s an instructive video, you have to modify the method according to how compliant your bun is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnuxGLa2reg

If she doesn’t eat and you’re confident it’s not a blockage, Critical Care is very good since it has all nutrients + lots of fiber. Hydration is very important too. Sometimes a bunny may need subcutaneus fluids and a gut motility drug from a vet, so keep a close eye, do the massage and hopefully she’ll start eating soon. That she ate papaya is great!

She barely is eating hay and is now refusing romaine, kale, carrot and banana which she all loves. I have given her 4 tbs of critical care in the past 2 hours.

Her temp is normal now (normal is 101-103 for bunnies, partly depending on body size.) But if her temp drops, (sick buns are prone to hypothermia and that’s dangerous) sit her in your knee with a blankie on her (you can massage the tummy meanwhile, you can massage for 15 minutes every 2 hours but only if she doesn’t seem like it’s hurting her). Or put a hot-water bottle with a blankie around it so she can snuggle up to it if she likes to – but she must have space enough to move away from it if it gets too warm. If she’s not better in like 2-3 hours, you should call your vet. Empty her litterbox and put fresh litter in it so you can keep exact track of her droppings.

Ok so quick update. So I don’t know if I solved the problem, but I defiently helped it. I called my vet and she told me she was going to call back. In the time I had to wait for the call I wanted to take her temp again, when I saw a poop sticking out, I pull on it and another comes out attached by fur. Since then she has been eating dry food, a tiny piece of carrot and a little kale and romaine lettuce. I’m still waiting for a call back to talk to her.

Oh and she has been pooping a little more, with average/smallish poops ( better than before when tiny/ no poops came out)

Sorry, I was on my phone earlier so my response was short. It sounds like things were slowing in there for one reason or another. Fur generally isn’t the cause of a blockage, but more the result. Fur passing through is quite common and isn’t necessarily a bad thing. A lot of the time it means they need to eat more hay. If there is a blockage, then fur trying to pass through the system ends up trapped in the blockage as well. Since something is going in and coming out, even though it isn’t a ton, my guess is that a blockage isn’t the issue. Something has caused her gut to slow down though so I would keep doing what you’re doing. Do tummy massages and encourage her to eat. Hay is good and, as Bam said, veggies with some water on them are good too. There could still be an underlying issue so hopefully the vet can offer you some suggestions on where to go from here. She might still have a tooth spur (you said the vet clipped one) or it could be something else.

The vet called back and she suggested putting her on simethicone, since Heidi is eating on her own more now she said to see if she eats enough and if not to give her more critical care. She said if anything worsens I should call back immediately. I’ll make sure she eats more hay. I’ll keep you guys updated.

Thank you for the update! It sounds like she’s doing a lot better now. Good job! You seem to have a good vet, that’s also great.
