        Hello everyone,

I need some help and advise. My poor bun is from the RSPCA. I got him 07/2014. He started having upper respiratory issues such as leaky eye, snot sneezing and drooling/pulling hair from his chin around late 2014. He was seen at a vet April – May 2015.  They tried different treatments and none had worked. Finally he had these x rays done and his teeth trimmed. I was told pulling his teeth will not work because they are J hooked and they won’t be able to get all of it causing it to grow back.

The symptoms went away and recent came back last week. I took him to another vet today and he now has 2 abscess on each side of his chin where the teeth are going through the jaw bone and was recommend I put him down very soon because his teeth are so bad. I am going to take him to his original vet for a second opinion.

He is still eating and drinking as normally. I made a cardboard cone for him so he won’t lick his chin.

The cost of all previous treatments come up to 900$.

Has anyone seen teeth this bad? Any opinions on my situation?

I’m bumping this up so as many people as possible see it, maybe someone who knows something happens to come by. I’ve never seen anything like it and I’m sorry your bun and you must go through this.
