My daughter’s bunnies, Sif and Thor, have been best buds since Sif came in June.  Last Monday, November 8th, Sif was spayed and quarantined due to the surgical restrictions.  Now Thor won’t have much to do with her.  When she approaches him and tries to sniff his butt, he runs away.  The only sign of improvement was when he let her groom his face and ears (he LOVES that) today.  We let them out together but they are in separate domiciles at night and when we are not home.  Worried that the love is gone!  How can we get them back to snuggling and nosey kisses?

Did they live together (at night) before the surgery? They aren’t fighting so I would let them spend all their time together-bonded buds should always be together. It’s too bad you weren’t able to keep them together at the vet and after the surgery, but they should be able to be rebonded!
