I woke up and fed my little Olly, he ran around for a bit, then went back in his cage, after a little while I noticed his paw was in his bowl and he was on his side, I called him a couple of times and he didn’t look at me, I thought the worst thing had happened, I thought ‘OK I’ll take him up to the vets later.’ To say it a nice way, for his funeral, I said “Olly you were the best rabbit ever.” I opened his cage and kissed his nose, then lol I was laughing because he kissed my chin and got up for a play, YAY, my bunny is still with us, he was in a very deep bunny sleep.

That must have been a terrible fright! It happened to me once with my Bam, he didn’t respond when I called him and when I lifted him up he was all limp. I held him to my chest thinking my darling was gone – and then he woke up. And looked at me like huh, what??

They really know how to keep us on our toes, these bunnies =)

Moxie has scared me countless times! Recently I was sitting on my bed when I glanced over at Moxie. She flopped onto her back in her usually sleeping position but her head was twitching so I thought she was having a seizure. I jump up to go check on her but it was just a house fly landing on her nose!

But I agree with Bam, these bunnies do really know how to keep us on our toes!

Choco did this a few days ago. My partner knew what was going on, but I had no idea and I was sad and afraid. I went over to him and he got up. What a prankster. I’m already paranoid about this kind of thing cuz this is the first rabbit I’ve ever had and I’m super new to everything. Now on top of it actually happening, I have to also worry that he’s faking!

Cheru and choco, hopefully you’ll get to see many full bunny flops! It means the bunny is happy and relaxed around you.
But I never quite get used to seeing them flop, they look so life-less =/
