as you may know I have just got my bunny! She has her own room which in the day she is free to run around there is a play pen and the door is always open and the door to hutch is also open but at night it gets REALLY cold so I thought that it might be right to put her in her hutch (the hutch is indoors) at night and shut the door instead of leaving it open… I do put her food, water, toys and bedding in there but is this right or should I be leaving the door open?  I feel so bad justt keeping her in there over night… but it will keep her warm.

How cold does it get in there? It won’t hurt for her to be in a smaller space for the night, many rabbit owners do the same thing when we’re not around to supervise just in case something happens. If the hutch is insulated well enough, keeping the hutch door open at night (if she can get inside comfortably on her own) may be enough to keep her warm. It’s all up to what you feel comfortable doing.

How cold does it get? If it’s indoors, it should be fine though there is no issue closing her up at night
