I was just reading on Instagram about how people have stopped giving their buns Oxbow because of the soy. I started Milton and Bun on oxbow after reading this forum so I wanted to check up and see if you guys have switched, and if so, what you switched to? thank you!

I was considering switching to Oxbow natural science but not sure if yellow pea, tomato pomace and the ever present cane molasses is much better.

Im honestly not concerned. I still feel Oxbow is one of the better brands.

I think Oxbow’s Critical Care has saved my bunnies’ lives, so I tend to trust that company.

The other brand that is generally recommended by vets is Science Selective, and looking at the ingredients list, I’m not overly impressed. Alfalfa meal, soybean hulls, wheat, wheatfeed, flaked peas, linseed, beet pulp, soybeanmeal, soya oil, monocalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate.

                  Fibafirst also has soy.

There are all-hay pellets, but I don’t really see the point if a bunny already is eating hay. (Some bunnies won’t eat hay though so for them, an all hay pellet may be good.)
