New to bunny cages

Hi! I just got my new bun, Clementine, and currently she is sadly in a smaller cage than she should be. It’s only temporary, as I’m looking for a cage that’s 2 or more stories but also big enough for her to hop around. Her current cage doesn’t have enough room for her to comfortably stretch around so I take her outside or keep her on my bed most of the day so she can exercise.

but I don’t have enough room on my floor for that. So if there’s something out there that’s equal in square feet but spread over 2 floors or more I’d love to see it. Also, any advice for cage setup would be nice. I can post current pictures of cage setup if I need to! Thank you!

I think rabbits prefer flat large space rather than multiple stories, but someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
My rabbit’s cage is rather large, but she still gets bored being in it all day, so even with a larger cage you will probably need to keep letting her out to exercise.

I use the grid things that u see in that link, but I just put them directly on my carpet since my rabbit is litter trained im not worried.

I’ve seen some people use dog play pens as cages too.

I’m not a cage expert but I have seen cages that a multi-storeys similar to your link( not sure of sizes tho)

My rabbit has his cage and attached to it is a large dog pen to give him extra room.

We have this cage that I painted the red parts white and the white parts mint because I’m crazy.  It now sits on a dog crate floor replacement in our living room.  Our bunny goose loved the upstairs and first now he hardly goes up there.  Sometimes he will.  His cage door is always open though and he is much more interested in going up our actual stairs..

It needs to be 2 grids high not 1. You can buy grids and make your own cage for way way cheaper and it could be bigger for cheaper.

We decided on getting a hutch but keeping it indoors. More spacious that way. Thank you all!
