So one breed I am positive Loki is mixed with is lion head, the other possible being English Spot or Rhinelander. They look so alike I can’t tell. Either way, I was told English Spots tend to be more of a “running breed.” That they really love to run around and don’t really like to be cuddly. But I have noticed when Loki is out and about, he will not lay down for more the 10 seconds! He’ll get himself so worked up from running around like a wild bun, when he finally lays down I’m happy he’s gonna relax, and within seconds he hops back up so quickly!

I was just wondering if maybe there’s some other bunny owners that have buns who do the same? And he does lay down and sleep in his cage. it’s not like he never lays down for long periods of time. Just when he’s out!

and if you have either a english spot or rhinelander, i’d love to see!

Okay I don’t have and English Spot or a Rhinelander but I have a mini rex and she is the same way! She loves to be everywhere and then some- but she is free range so I have heard that free rangers will take every advantage of not being in a cage for long periods. She is also a total non cuddly bun but she loves attention and head rubs…basically everything is on her terms much like a cat lol. I am trying to upload a pic for you…. still new here and it won’t load

I have an American Checkered Giant. He is somedays super active and running with only a short (30 second) break to catch his breath and then he is all over the place. Lol. However, he has days where all he does is sleep in the fireplace. We don’t use the fireplace.

I’m sorry for the late response! And yeah I usually just post pictures of Loki on photo bucket or something and just post the links haha I can’t figure out how to do it either.

But she seems just like my Loki. Everything is on his terms. He just made a drastic change lately though and has been awesome when it comes to getting more comfortable around me. he’s been coming up right next to me and lays down for 5-10 minute periods.. which doesn’t sound like much, but it really is for him hahaha

But I don’t see him ever really being cuddly, or giving kisses like some rabbits. which makes me sooo jealous

oh wow! I heard Checkered Giants were pretty rare??? when I first got Loki I thought maybe that’s what he was mixed with, but I now know he’d be much, much bigger if he was. I heard they were somewhat difficult of a breed

Mr. Bun-bun is huge. He weighs about 9 pounds alrady he is only about 6 months old. When he stands on his hind legs to sniff me he coms up a litte above my knee. He eats like a horse and literally runs everywhere. He does not know how to sit still. Sometimes he drives me insane. He lves jumping from the floor tho the chair then to the table. Yesterday he came into the kitchen when I opened the refrigerator and was tall enough to pull out his salad that I had washed earlier.

Not sure about English Spots, but I have a Rex California cross who has been with me for 2 years. Very aloof. Although bonded, and participates in mutual grooming, and they like to lie down next to eachother, she isn’t cuddly with him, and is quite a stranger with me. After 2 years I still can’t get past a few pets on her head. She is also very active, Doesn’t lie around like my other rabbits.
