I’ve had my bunnies around 5 months now and they have always been scaredy cats. They were held every day by the previous owner and I have tried to keep up with they have got so fast theres no way of me picking them up.

One has come round slightly sometimes lets me stroke the top of their head but the others theres no chance of that. She also grunts a lot and has tried to head butt me, especially when she has to go into her hutch on a night.

Anyone else have this problem or know anything that could help?

Well, love is different for different people and different rabbits – she sounds like a typical rabbit to me. Just keep up the routine that you have and continue what you do and she will come to feel more comfortable with you.

I agree. They sound like normal bunnies to me. Especially if they are young. Try getting down on their level and let them get to know you on their terms. They likely won’t like you picking them up and that’s okay. They will show their affection in other ways.

Thank you guys I thought I was doing something wrong or that they hated me. I will keep up what I’m doing and hopefully they will come to me more and not run away
