So Migi seems to be really picky with her hay. I give her Oxbow Timothy and from what I notice she picks out all the flat pieces of hay that have some sort of spikey texture to it when you rub your skin on it (grips the skin) along with the flowery pieces. Any idea which cut has more of these types of hay or what kind? Thanks!

Some rabbits dont like timothy hay. Try different types of hay and find out whats her favorite.

Any idea where I can buy hay samplers? Been on google and all I can find was a place in the UK that doesn’t ship to the US.

I’d assume she eats the Timothy hay just fine since I just had her spayed and was told that her weight is great and her teeth are fine. She used to eat the harder pieces before (I remember hearing the crunching), but now I don’t hear it as much anymore. I see her eating the thinner pieces mostly nowadays. A lot of it gets thrown out.

I’ve never gotten hay from here, but it was mentioned in another thread that you can get a sampler.
http://www.oneearuphay.com/shop/one-ear-up-sampler. The person posting about the samplers said that they are very small bags, just a handful.

My bunnies like American Pet Diner Timothy Gold, a second cutting of Timothy, which is softer. It is now sold in Petco stores, as well as several places online (including the BB store). I also feed my bunnies Oxbow orchard grass, botanical hay and organic meadow hay.

Thank you very much. Just ordered the sampler to test a few of their types of hay out! Hopefully I find the right one for my bun
