Can they eat the fluffy off-white kind that you make wishes on when you blow on them ,or the yellow flowery kind that is called dandelion greens, or both?

I thought that they were both the same plant. The yellow flowers turn into the white seeds that u can blow away.

I grow dandelion and feed my rabbit and my guinea pigs, the leaves and flowers. Not a daily food though, maybe a couple times per week

Porky love them. Stems flowers and leaves all get eaten.

Just make sure you get them from a lawn not sprayed with pesticides.

The white fluffy balls comes after the yellow flowers have gone, it’s the dandelion seeds that have like little parachutes on them, so the wind can carry them far. I don’t know if bunnies would eat the fluff, I’ve never tried that, but all the rest of the plant they can eat.
When a bunny has eaten dandelions, the pee becomes orange/red. So don’t be alarmed if Hercules’ pee turn red or orange after he’s had dandelions.

All parts are fine to feed. Just make sure they are pesticide-free.
