You really need to find a vet for your rabbit, before the situation gets worse. Scroll down on this page to find vet resources by areas.
https://binkybunny.com/RESOURCES/tabid/67/Default.aspx, or do a search for vets in your area. A lot of times these lists aren’t up to date. Rabbit savvy vets will usually mention that they treat exotics, but you can call any vets that come up in a search and ask them if they see a lot of rabbits or not.

Kitten formula Revolution or Advantage is usually prescribed for fleas, and that might treat mites too. Never use Frontline on rabbits, it has been shown to be fatal. For mites, a vet may also prescribe Ivermectin.

Instead of guessing what may be wrong with your rabbit, he really needs to be seen by a vet right away, so that he can get the right medicine for his problem.

I agree. You will need to see a vet anyway in order to buy appropriate treatment. Sometimes vets will sell you Revolution if your bunny is already a patient there. But if you currently don’t have a vet, it’s better to take your bunny in and looked at. They will likely sell you some Revolution to use and if the problem arises again in the future then you will be on record with the vet and they will sell it to you without an appointment. Having a vet take a look should not cost a lot of money, but office visit fees do vary a lot around the country. As Tobyluv said, do not use Frontline. If the vet tries to use Frontline on your bunny, then they don’t know what they are doing.

okay. ill try to get a vet. the problem is I dont get complete control of what I can do. like my mom hates spending money. I just applied for a job so when I get money is when I can get him looked at.

I think it would be important to point out to your mom that it is more cost effective to treat things before they progress into a huge problem. You will save money in the long run. I think it’s a good idea to try to get a job of some sort so you can have your own money for your bunny. Ultimately, your parents are responsible for the well being of your bunny. But I think it shows you are very responsible when you are willing to work for money and then use that money to pay for your bunny’s medical needs. Perhaps you could make arrangements to pay your mom back?
