Hey everyone, we noticed today that Jeremy had a small cut/ dark red scab/lump ( like dried blood colour ) on the outside of his ear. It’s small and linear. From looking i think he might have scratched and cut his ear while grooming? I checked for ear mites and saw nothing. as he is an indoor bunny so couldn’t have hurt it outdoors. Does this happen? or should i take him to the vet? Thanks

I say keep an eye on him and only take him to the vet if it doesn’t get better over time or it gets worse. Its possible he did it from grooming if his nails are sharp or rough or he may have nicked it on something. Just make sure to keep it clean to avoid any infections and keep an eye on it
