I was told he was a mini lop but his face doesn’t seem to be as flat as the others I’ve seen so i’m undecided..

ALSO! Does anyone know if his face will remain like this or become more ‘flattened?’

        Any ideas?

How old is he and how much does he weigh?

He definitely looks like a mini lop to me, but I’ve never owned one. He sure is very cute though!

Yes, how much does he weigh? And can you get more of a profile picture? He could be a mini lop or a Holland, depending on how big he is and the shape of his head.

I’m looking at what you wrote. When you say mini lop, you talk about his face being flat. Are we talking about the same thing? What I mean is, in the US a Holland lop is the smallest breed and has the dwarfism gene. In Europe and other places probably, they call Hollands mini lops.

I think he looks really cute! And less flat faced bunnies tend to be healthier.

So 1 kg is about 2.2 pounds. I’m not really sure about what you all call your breeds in Aussie….

LBJ— Are Holland lops called mini lops in Aussie? You should ask Andi if you have a way of contacting her. She might know.

Andi says Henry is a mini lop. Not sure. I’m thinking Holland = mini in Australia. Anyway, Cassie your bunny looks to be a Holland to me (smallest lop breed with dwarfism genes in there), so you may have been told correctly that he is a mini is that’s what they call them there.

There is no reason not to believe your bunny is a mini-lop as you were told. Most pure breed rabbits are not perfect examples of the breed meeting every part of the standard for their breed. If they did, there would be no point in having competitions at rabbit shows.

I’m with Boing about it being healthier. Pet quality animals are often healthier.
