Does anyone else have a bunny that doesn’t chin things? The two girls chin EVERYTHING (Including the Clarke when they first met him.), but Clarke, who I’ve had since April, I’ve yet to see him chin anything at all. He was peeing to mark before, but now he uses the liter box and occasionally leaves poops. I’d ask if it was because he’s not neutered yet, but I had an unneutered boy before who chinned everything as well. Any ideas? Is it just his personality?

He may just not be a chinning bun, or he may not be into that yet.
My youngest, Quick Silver, began chinning within the first few months we got him, rubbing his chin on every little thing he could find, sometimes multiple times a day. Run, chin a shoe, run, chin the white board, run, chin Midnight. Midnight never chinned until we got Quick Silver, and even then it was a few months after her new little friend began doing it. She was almost 2 by the time she started

Rumple chinned a lot his first day home, but I haven’t seen him do it since!

I love getting my toes chinned! I had a rabbit that didn’t chin at all when I was younger. One of my buns doesn’t really binky so much as mini-bink whereas the other always does. Rabbits just tend to have different habits and different ways of doing things. There’s nothing wrong with not chinning though.

I think it’s more a girl thing. My Olivia is a super crazy chinner. She’s very materialistic. She pretty much chins everything she can in the living room. Bindi, on the other hand, will only chin me and the occasional plush bunny. It makes sense for girls to chin more because they are the more territorial.

Come to think of it, I never see Yohio chin stuff. Bam chins everything, pretty much.
