Came home from school today (was only gone for 5 hours) and found Rumple sitting very casually NEXT to his cage!!!!! Not exactly sure HOW he managed it, but I will be going to the store and getting him some c&c grids to line the areas of the cage that are I guess big enough for him to get through! Thank goodness he didn’t get stuck! And also thank goodness my room is completely bunny proofed. Nothing destroyed, just a little poop scattered around. Thankfully he prefers to go in his cage. We’re working on the litter box thing. But my hopes and dreams of having him free roam eventually look promising. Yay for a non destructo bun!

LOL! My husband came home one day to find our dog pacing back and forth and whimpering by our son’s room. When he went to investigate he found our bunny, Finnegan, stretched out on the bed. Not a care in the world! I learned two things that day. 1. Our dog is more afraid of the rabbits than they are of her. and 2. Bunnies are amazing escape artists!

Too funny! Gotta love them though! I just finished putting wire around the bars of his cage and then putting cardboard in front of that. Just in case. I think it’s pretty escape proof now! The store was all out of NIC grids AND chicken wire! SO I had to make do with 100lb picture wire. figured that should be good enough to keep him in until I get the NIC grids I ordered. I hope so! I don’t think it was a really motivated escape, more of a “oh I can fit through here. Cool.” Hopefully tomorrow I come home to a safe and secured bun!
