You appear to have the four footed long eared kind. That’s all I got. But she is beautiful! Her coloring is similar to our Potus….and he looks something like an American sable, perhaps. Haha, but I’m no good at breeds. Most likely, she’s a mutt bunny- – either way, she’s adorable.

The pointed color pattern is pretty common among various breeds. It is part of the californian breed standard, and your rabbit seems to have the right body shape. However her eyes are the wrong color for a californian, and I don’t think it’s just a case of not meeting the standard. I’m going to have to go with lovable mutt.

Lovable mutt is a wonderful breed, I have one myself.

Lionhead and holland lop is so so far from anything I would have guessed. She has no traits from either breed. Not only is she missing the most obvious traits from those breeds; mane, lopped ears, and dwarfism; her body type, which should similar in lionheads and holland lops, is totally wrong. She’s cylindrical with a dewlap, like larger breeds tend to be.

Genetics can be funny, so I don’t think it’s completely impossible, but it seems extremely unlikely.

Well, when it all boils down to it, the thing that matters is she is healthy and happy. Breed is just a title. Like age is just a number? Enjoy your bunny, no matter what she is.

                                  A cute one.

She might have some netherland dwarf in her, but 5-8 lbs is way to big for a nethie.

after further consideration, she might be like 3-5lbs.

Looks a little similar to my Bramble, although this picture makes him look quite dark in colour, who I think is a cinnamon bunny – they are a specific type of crossbreed apparently. this link http://rabbitbreeders.us/cinnamon-rabbits says they are usually between 9-11 lbs but my Bramble is only about 2.5kgs which is somewhere around 6lbs I believe

I think part of the reason no-one can identify your rabbit is that this site is for house rabbit owners and the rules specify against talking about breeding. People who are primarily breeders aren’t common among these boards so few of us have any experience of which characteristics a mutt might have picked up from which breed.

My late bun Mr Roger was a double maned lionhead and he was obvious, but my current bun is the muttiest of mutts. Her body shape is actually quite odd and her sister had a head that looked much too small for her body. Aside from her having some lop genes and allegedly some dwarf-something genes I have no idea what she is.
