I’m am needing suggestions on how to get Molly to eat her Timothy hay I have tried putting it in her litter box, moving her hay rack beside her litter box, putting it in cardboard boxes and rolls and tried putting parsley flakes on it and she does not eat it. Any suggestions?

Try putting it in a pile on the floor. Are you overfeeding her ?

Try different brands of Timothy, if you’ve just given her one brand, and/or try different varieties of grass hay, such as orchard grass or meadow hay. Hay can vary a lot between brands, the growing conditions and when it was harvested. Some rabbits prefer second cutting hay, which is softer. American Pet Diner Timothy Gold is a good second cutting hay brand. The reason many rabbits like orchard grass instead of Timothy is that it is sweeter. You may have to do a bit of experimenting to find a type and brand that Molly likes. Any of the grass hays are good.

Make sure that you aren’t feeding too many pellets (unless Molly is a baby) so that she will be hungrier and want to eat the hay.
