        Hello BinkyBunny!

I’ve been browsing around trying to find a sort of dry shampoo to help clean up my little Muffin boy.  Unfortunately I can only seem to find dry shampoos that are mainly Febreze for bunnies.  Do any of you know a mild odour, dry shampoo to clean dirty bunny bums?

        Thank you!

Corn starch is what’s most often recommended. But you can give a wet butt bath if there’s sticky poop.

Generally bunnies are self cleaning. Poopy butt can be a sign of digestive problems. Stinky could be hormonal, or scent glands. It’s important to figure out what is at the heart of the dirty butt.

              Thank you for responding!

The dirty bum was the result of a large store bought treat he stole from the table. A friend of mine bought a little, “Rabbit Doughnut” for his Birthday and since I didn’t want to waste it I gave him a nibble and then took it away. He didn’t settle for just a taste though. :/
As expected, the next day he had a lot of extra cecals. I cleaned his bum with a washcloth and warm water but I was just looking for something extra to help clean him.

              Thank you for the help

Fortunately over indulging on treats is an easy to diagnose and fix digestive problem. Glad he’s feeling better. It’s hard being the big meanie taking away treats from the cute little bunny, and than after you go through that he goes and just steals it back.

If he’s still not clean back there, I’d do more wet cleaning with plain water, not a dry shampoo.
