My rabbit Scarlet has not been peeing in her litter box, but instead, all over her x-pen. this just happened tonight. The pee is brown and reddish and somewhat greenish. Is this normal or should i take her to a vet? She shares an x-pen with my other rabbit Philip. Should I separate them? Please help. Thanks.

Any chance you can post a picture? It’s normal for it to be many colors-from white to red, but I’m not sure at all about greenish.
          What’s she been eating?
          Pictures would definitely help.
Also-if it’s completely abnormal for her to pee outside her litter box and she’s peed out of it-that in itself may be cause for the vet.

Peeing all over in very concentrated urine is about marking territory.

Are Philip and Scarlet bonded? Are they neutered and spayed?

She has been eating the same thing that she always does. Here’s some pictures.

They are bonded and are both neutered and spayed.

I already went through the whole “marking territory thing”. There was pee and poop everywhere when I put them in their pen together.

                Can they remark their territory?

That pee doesn’t look normal to me. I think a vet check is needed. Bring some of this brown pee or whatever it is to the vet clinic. How does it smell? If there’s a foul smell there are bacteria.

They can re-mark their territory and they often will.

Edit: Here’s what I found on urinary tract infections in bunnies, from
                  http://www.petmd.com/rabbit/conditions/urinary/c_rb_lower_urinary_tract_infection

                  Symptoms and Types

Some rabbits with bacterial infections of the lower urinary tract may not show any signs, but many more do. A few of the more common signs include:

                  • Bloody urine (hematuria)
                  • Thick, beige- or brown-colored urine
                  • Urinary incontinence, especially during confinement or at places that are not customary (i.e., locations he has not peed before)
                  • Frequent urination, but only in small amounts
                  • Skin scalding/burns due to urine, especially around genitals and hind legs

From what I have read that pee does not look normal. Please take your bunny to the vet. It could have a urine infection or some type of bacterial infection. Poor bun bun

That photo looks more like very bad diarrhea to me than very dark urine. I think it’s vet time. Try to take in a few samples if you can.
