My rabbit is alone and doesn’t seem lonely, but I get a notion that he craves attention if something else. He is fine in all other ways, but if
If he needs a companion, how can I convince my parents to let me get another? Please help.

rabbits typically will prefer/enjoy living with other rabbits! they provide communication and companionship with one another that we just can’t give.
as for convincing your parents I’d tell them about all the benefits of a second rabbit including how your rabbit won’t be all alone even if you can’t be there, how having a friend will keep your bun from being bored and therefore less likely to get in troubles, + much more.
Though in the meantime I know it’s hard not to worry about but if you’re working on it don’t worry about your bunny, you’re doing your best and I’m sure he knows and feels all your love for him.

No. A second rabbit is optional. Sometimes bonding fails, and people end up with two single rabbits.

I’ve heard it suggested that you try giving your bun a stuffed animal to snuggle with. I’ve heard of bunnies who love their stuffies and groom them and snuggle. of course be careful your bunny isn’t eating his friend lol and make sure eyes and buttons won’t come off.

He has as stuffed rabbit but he doesn’t really care for it.

Yeah, ours were never interested either lol. They only used them for chew toys.
