REMINDER OF RULE ABOUT SELLING/PROMOTING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Hi everyone, 

This is a friendly reminder that we do not allow members to use the forum to sell or promote products.  While you can certainly ask questions about what kind of toys, hay, food etc that someone might recommend, there is definitely a difference between legitimately asking a question and blatantly promoting a product or service.   

Here are the rules regarding this:

RULE F.   NO SELLING OR PROMOTING: Do not post, email or message/PM advertisements or promotions of stores, products, services or personal websites.  This includes in your Signature, Avatar or Member Name as well.   This site and forum survives on store profits. It’s the only thing that keeps us going.  We are not a huge money-making company and posts about other similar stores products, services and promotions are not allowed.

Members cannot use the board to sell products or promote a business, product or service. This also means if the product or money making venture is from a blog, personal or social site, you cannot post about the site or link to it. 

THIS INCLUDES CONTESTS, DRAWINGS, VOTE REQUEST, *** % DONATION PROMOTIONS.

The reason for this rule is we don’t want this forum to become a billboard spamfest, but the other very important aspect is that our own store profit margins are thin, and we use much of the profits to keep this community up and running.  Example, we need to do a site and forum update soon and it’s expensive!  We have been saving up for almost a year, and the store profits are the only thing that will make that happen.  We do not accept donations, and you certainly don’t have to shop at the store if another works for you, but you can help in other ways which include not promoting products or services that would drive others elsewhere.
