  A couple of weeks ago I had to say goodbye to my best friend Star. It was by far the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, and I cant even put into words how much I’m missing her I rescued her in a horrible condition and we developed such a strong bond, she knew I’d never hurt her and I knew we were soulmates … I wish more than anything I could kiss her nose one last time, I stayed with her to the very end and when she had fallen asleep the sun came out and shone on her.

  Oh dear, Rest in Peace Star, what a shame, AnnaW, you know when pets go I believe St. Francis looks after them and they tell him how much they loved you.

  I’m so sorry. I lost one of my horses that I had grown up with and raised from a yearling and it’s 6-7 months later and I STILL get teary eyed when I look at pictures/think too much about him. They will always have a special place in your heart, one that will never be filled, but your heart does learn to grow and it learned how to love another animal in a completely different, yet still beautiful, way

  Anna! I can’t believe this? How sad and I am sorry are you ok? I only took comfort knowing that Star had a good (wonderful) life thanks to you. Your grief must be overwhelming, I’m sorry Anna. You must know that I think of you all the time – just a shame we caught up over such a sad occasion. Your beautiful Star, xo.

  Thanks AndHenry <3 I can't remember a time when I've felt so lonely even surrounded by people and animals i love, but there was just something about her that connected us! She is in paradise now and I think she'll wait for me at the bridge xx
