I am headed to go to Malaysia for a week and a half, with  a group from Japan. I wanted to give everyone an update on my ulcer bun George.

George is doing really well he had to be put on  pain meds. for several weeks because he stopped eating. The vets think the ulcer was still sore and food irritated it. He is back to his curious, hungry self. I was extremely happy the first day when he came running over looking for fresh hay when I filled his bin.

He will probably be on sucralfate and either ranitidine cimetidine or omeprazole for the rest of his life.

The vets feel it is more likely than not stress related.

George will be boarded at the vet while Dusty and Gracie stay at my house with my mom.

I just took Dusty and Gracie in for a checkup and they are doing really well.
