I currently have an unspayed 1 year old female mini lop and was looking to get an 8 week old male mini lop. I would not like them to make any babies at this stage. Still deciding whether to get them neutered/spayed.How would I would I go about introducing/bonding and is this a good idea?

        Thanks in advance

It is not a good idea to start bonding without both bunnies being neutered plus one month. While they are still intact, bunnies’ hormones can cause them to be unpredictable, and there is a high chance of fighting or injuries. Even if you do decide to never bond them, we always recommend spaying/neutering (especially spaying) because intact bunnies have high chances of developing reproductive cancers (up to 80% in females).

Just a reminder, discussion of breeding is not permitted on BB.
I am going to move this thread to Bonding.
