  I’m new to rabbit owning. Me and my girlfriend bought our first rabbit a few days ago after deciding we want a pet. We decided on Muffin, a cute baby rabbit. Really cute… she’s light brown and white. I’ll get a photo taken and post it later. Anyway, we’ve only had her a few days and she’s settling into the house well. I think she’s already starting to like me, at least as soon as her cage opens and I pt my hand in she comes scampering over for a sniff and is fine with me picking her up and holding her.
  
  Anyway, I live in Taiwan (but I’m from England originally) don’t have a backyard unfortunately but when Muffin is bigger we’re going to buy her a leash and take her for a walk and a play around the local park so she can get some fresh air and have a dig.

  Rabbits can live excellent quality lives indoors if they get time out of their cage so they can exercise and play. The outdoors is full of dangers for a bunny, so we generally don’t recommend it here.

  Leashes aren’t best for bunnies because they can easily injure themselves by trying to pull away. If you must take her outside, I would recommend a playpen on untreated grass, although going outside is not a requirement.
