My rabbit Anjula is a beautiful rabbit. I would love to know what type of breed she is because she shows curious behavior that I simply adore. Can someone help me find her breed? I suspect that she is a Blanc de Hotot but she seems a bit light. I am going to name her features:

        – black ears

        – 2 dots of black fur on forehead

        – black eye circles

        – deep brown eyes

        – 3 inch ears

        – currently a year old ( I suspect since I think she is a teenager due to behavior observing)

        – 4 lb.

        – strong large looking hind legs

        – white on rest on body

        – neck barely seen

These are what I’ve got so far. It would be really nice if someone could help out? Thank you!!

She’s lovely but I believe Hotot’s have white ears…she may very well be a mix though with Hotot.

Welcome to you and Anjula. : )

No she’s not a Blanc de Hotot but she’s pretty!

Unfortunately, her colouring won’t help define her breed much. That’s a common pattern and can show in lots of breeds and mix breeds. It’s from the En gene.
A bunny that is mostly white but has ear colour, eye patches and sometimes some spots around the nose are called Charlie’s. (Named after Charlie Chaplin because it looks like they have a moustache. Not all have the moustache). So that’s her pattern, but no clue on her breed!

Gosh I remember searching to find out the breed of my 1st rabbit. Years later, I’ve learnt most times they’re an unknown mix.

Do you have some more photos of her?

The ones they sell in my area look a lot of like netherland dwarf rabbits and are around the same size. They are all white usually with black eyeliner being the signature marking. Then again I just looked online at that breed and it seems like your rabbit could be that breed. I am not an expert. Like Sarita said it could very well be a Hotot mix.

Probably a “pet quality” dwarf hotot. 4 lbs is a tad over breed standard.

Though breed standard requires white ears, black ears are an extremely common fault and often several kits in every litter will have black ears.
