I’ve been told Olly is a Teenager and this could be why he came out of his cage this evening with a mouth full of food whilst I was sat on the floor and decided to bite me with food in his mouth for a reason only known to little Olly, but he still let me stroke him and hand feed him, then did it again same place, is this true about Teenage rabbits? He is 2 years old, are we going through the terrible 2’s like with toddlers?

I have also been told he may be just grooming me and to wear thicker clothes, does anyone have a Knights suit of armour they no longer need? LOL

At two years old he’s a full grown adult. Bunnies hit puberty around 4-6 months which is when you would start to see bratty teenage behavior. Is he neutered?

To my knowledge, rabbits typically are teenagers from 4 months to about 1 year. After 1 year, most rabbits are known to calm down and be adults. As all things are with rabbits, your mileage may vary haha. But in my opinion a two year old rabbit is definitely an adult. Though this site is far from verifiable, it is pretty hilarious and I think pretty accurately puts things in perspective– http://www.threelittleladiesrabbitry.com/rabbityears.php.
