Goose has never been a cord chewer.  that being said in the area he’s allowed in there are a total of 4 cords.  Our fish tank, a laptop charger, a phone charger, and a dust buster.  Then all the sudden this week Goose decided that my phone charger looked mighty tasty.  He chewed right through it, unharmed, unscathed (I am pretty sure it wasn’t plugged in).  We never let him out unless someone his home and going to be around him and we plan on now buying protectors for the cords in his area.  I told my husband what happened and I guess tonight he had his face all caught in the cords of the fish tank, I don’t know how he did it, but he wasn’t chewing them.  Now tonight he has chewed through another phone charger.  What is this new obsession? What can I do to curb it?  Goose has wood blocks, and a twine ball to chew on.  He also has several plastic cat balls. he doesn’t seem bored but i’m open to suggestions.

This is how bunnies do things. You have to keep chargers where he can’t reach them, because now he’s realized that chargers can be chewed. Thicker cords should be covered with cable protectors at all times because they’re a fire hazard and a risk of the bunny electrocuting himself. Thin cords like chargers are more appetizing to a bunny and has low voltage/current so only the charger will be harmed but it’s SO FRUSTRATING to keep having to buy new ones.

You never know when a bunny gets sth into his head. My Yohio recently discovered I have a kitchen. He’s been with me for 2 years and like a week ago,he just had to get into this amazing “new” room all the time. I keep the door closed now because the kitchen isn’t 100% bunny-proofed.

I totally agree with everything Bam has said. I have had my 2 rabbits awhile now. I have had Usagi for almost 2 and half years and I have had Kilala almost 2 years now and they recently started to chew on the drywall in our house. You never know what rabbits will do or why they decide to do them. Mine have plenty of items to busy themselves with like yours does.
Bunny proof the best you can like Bam mentioned.
