I have been bonding my bunnies the past couple days. Lily and Peanut are getting along ok. He still humps a bit even though he was neutered over a month ago. My question is, how do I tell the difference between a kiss and a bite? Lily appeared to give him a couple kisses in the last bonding session but it was hard to tell if it was a kiss or bite. How can I tell? Also, how often should I do bonding sessions?

I’m not good at bonding, my bunnies bit when I tried to bond them. They pulled out big tufts of fur in doing so.
Bunnies may nip out of “affection”, so that’s not a warning-sign. But if the other bunny seems to hate it and try to get away and there’s fur-pulling, sometimes growling, then it’s aggressive biting. If you can’t tell, then I’d assume it is kisses. I’m no expert though, as I said, but I have seen my own bunnies fighting and believe me, there was no mistaking that for kisses.

You should of course also check your bunnies for wounds and sores after each bonding-session now in the beginning. Especially look at the areas around the eyes and the private parts.

Humping doesn’t have to be sexual, it can be an act of dominance and it will occur whether the bunny is desexed or not, that’s normal and to be expected.
