Hi guys!! My bunny Ted (4 years old) was just neutered about a month ago. Before his neuter he was obsessed with jumping up on my mother’s bed and peeing on it. Since his neuter, he’s stopped all his pee “markings”, but now has been obsessed with digging this one area of her bed. He tore apart her new comforter and is digging & chewing up all the pillows. Any advice on how to stop this behavior? He used to just chill in her room but now she has to close the door because he’s getting so destructive! I was wondering if this had anything to do with the neuter as the digging behavior became really bad since the procedure. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Could you try redirecting him to dig something else? Get a dig box or something?

But I think really the best way is just to keep him off the bed. Lots of bunnies can’t be trusted on beds

Yes! Good idea. I also bought him his own pet bed so we are working on getting him to dig that if anything. What do you suggest I put in a dig box ? i would like to make him one of those too

Cardboard box + hay + a few pellets.
