        Hi all,

Yesterday evening I changed my bunnies’ litter boxes and from that moment on Oreo keeps on jumping in either one (they have two litter boxes) and starting to dig.

Except for the… uh, I don’t know what it’s called in english, sorry ^^; but that thing you put in the litter box itself, some use recycled paper, I use small compressed wood pellets. I’m using the same type I always do, so except for it being new and unused, nothing’s changed.

My bunnies are also using the litter boxes as they used to and Oreo isn’t throwing the litter out and he’s not making any mess, but I’m dying to know why the sudden digging. Any ideas?

Rabbits like to dig. Mine “digs” at blankets, carpet and even pillows. It’s just what they do.

Digging is very normal behavior but it can be a pain when it’s the litter box. You can buy screens to put over the litter box. Binky Bunny store has them.
