Has anyone tried an automatic waterer for their rabbit(s)? They sell Teeny 1/4 gallon ones that I thought may be a good idea instead of worrying about bowls running out. I also have water bottles available but I thought letting the bun(s) choose what they like would be best.

Also I know its plastic but it would be easy enough to watch for chewing.

This is what I am looking at. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003EV7F0A/ref=twister_B00NWH8DAC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I have one like this, I like it.

You need to make sure to still change the water everyday obviously, but like you said, it does mean you don’t have to worry about it running out while you’re out

If your bunny isn’t a chewer, go for it! I know they have ones in color for cheap at Home Goods and Tj Maxx and stores like that

My dog has one and I intentionally buy the small ones so they are easier to change frequently.

So far my boy isn’t a chewer but they are easy enough to see marks on if he did decide to.

I actually want the tan … it’s very easy to see if it is dirty anywhere. My dogs is dark blue and we’ll … lesson learned.
