As many of you guys know, we have four girls-Foo, Jaxx, Cotton and Yoshi. Foo and Jaxx are my mostly binded pair (I say mostly because they still can’t spend the night together because they disagree about what blankets and the potty are supposed to be used for. Foo is super meticulous and Jaxx not so much and it causes scuffles). Cotton and Yoshi are both singles, but now that Yoshi is spayed we are working in introducing them to our pair. Cotton has been through a round of bonding with Foo and Jaxx, and Foo has been receptive, Jaxx not so much. Thus our problem. Jaxx will not tolerate any bun but Foo. She’s been with Foo since she was a baby, they were spayed together, and were fast friends. I don’t know if it’s because of this that she loves Foo and otherwise would be an aggressive rabbit or not. She was the sweetest, loving baby and still is with Foo. However, her level of aggression with Cotton and Yoshi is crazy-she lunges and grunts at them through her crate and during bonding sessions is the one who starts fights. She has actually gotten more aggressive since being spayed. Has anyone ever heard of this? And are there any tips or advice for proceeding? I’m not sure what to do-is it possible for Foo to be part of two social groups since she loves everyone or should she just stay binded with Jaxx?

The past few bonding sessions we’ve had, Jaxx has kept to herself. My parents are on vacation so we’ve been using their house. Foo, Cotton, and Yoshi can’t get enough of running and playing together, but Jaxx has respectfully kept her distance. Adding Yoshi to the mix is new, but Cotton has been part of the bonding for about a year. Again, I ask- which is going to be best, in anyone’s opinion, having Good be part of two groups or breaking up into two pairs? And is it heard of for a female to become more aggressive after being spayed?
