Wow people can be scared of little fluffy bun buns.
A chalk drawing of a bunny caused a teacher to cry and flee her classroom. Snakes, bugs, and rodents are the most feared members of the animal kingdom, rabbits were considered rodents until 1912.

I imagine this particular woman had some other issues than the drawing of a rabbit….

I would think so Sarita, I’m scared of sptders I am Aracnophobic, I don’t like any thing with 8 legs, I’m scared of clowns, but if a child drew a clown or spider I wouldn’t go mad, if the school girl took a rabbit in that would have been different, the teacher says she has been off work ever since, so she is suing the girl, not many Leporphobics about, babies cry at rabbits because its a new thing and big to them, but I must admit I do feel a bit funny watching old films of people dressed as rabbits with the big masks jacket and trousers on.

I heard about that a while ago. I am extremely scared of spiders, (Even real pics/videos of spiders can make me squeal or scream) but a little chalk drawing wouldn’t do that to me.
She might of had some underlying trauma or something.

But who could be scared of bunnies? They are so cute and fluffy!

I really needed my mom to come to my house a couple of days a week while Kahlua was ill with head tilt. It was then that I found out she was scared of rabbits-more specifically holding them or touching them-wow!! I’ve had rabbits for about 8 years now and I didnt know that. She got over her fear to tend to Kahlua for me and did some bonding. But seriously-afraid of a rabbit!

K&K—When I first got my bun Moxie, my sister was uncomfortable being around her. (Understandably considering she did nip HARD a lot. )

Its Amazing what we can be scared of, from the smallest thing to the biggest and not always animals or insects, colours and numbers are another thing and balloons, foods, animals can be scared of things too, one of my mum’s cats was scared of mice and birds.

People can be scared of anything, it’s conditioning, I think? But to sue a girl for a chalk drawing of a bunny??? Could she get anywhere with that? To me it seems this person is so unstable that she shouldn’t be a teacher (at least not for children) at all.

She’d be an easy target for extortion. Give med good grades or I’ll come to your house and SHOW YOU a DRAWING of a BUNNY!!!!

Oh being afraid of a drawing of something-crazy -for sure!!

Moxie-that’s funny! My mom is afraid (phobic for real) of horses because of an accident when she was young, so she generalized that to a fear of -everything? Except their large husky lol I just think it’s funny someone can live with a dog or cat and be afraid of a herbivore!!!
