Hi, I’m Holly and I’m new here. In the past I’ve owned 3 mini lop bunnies. I owned a mini lop when I was about 14, which I loved dearly however that turned out to be a pretty negative experience as my parents at the time were unaware that it’s not a great idea to buy rabbits from pet stores, and also that spaying/neutering was very necessary! So, the mini lop I thought was a boy turned out to be a girl – and eventually a super hormonal mess  That was many years ago,  and when I moved into my own apartment I couldn’t wait to get another. Next weekend I will be getting one more baby, another boy, since my dream was to have two boy buns. Oh, and I’m a photographer so plan to be updated with plenty of photos!

Hi, my name is Bodhi and I’m a 6 week old blue tort English Lop. My mommy just brought me home yesterday and she thinks I’m the most beautiful bunny in the world. I love it when she strokes my cheeks and head (not too fond of being pet on my ears at the moment – I think it tickles!) I’m the most calm, laid back bunny ever and nothing really bothers me. I did great on the long car ride home, spending the time cleaning myself and even almost falling asleep! What can I say, I’m just a chill little guy. Nothing scares me! My cage is full of girly colors right now because at first, my mommy was told I was a girl   But that’s ok, I don’t mind. I’m great with my litter box already! I’m a bit messy inside my cage but outside of it I hardly ever leave poops. My favorite past times are exploring every inch of the apartment, binkying (I’ve already done several binkies on my first day home!), keeping myself super clean, laying down into a little blob when my mommy starts to pet me (see photo ) and “periscoping” (balancing on my back feet is hard, and I teeter a lot, but I’m getting the hang of it). I will usually come to my mommy when she calls me. See you guys soon!

Welcome, that is a beautiful baby there.  I want to stroke his ears and just nuzzle the little guy.

Thanks for the welcome. Little Bodhi has actually been renamed Avery, after a little more debate with my significant other. I don’t think he minds after only 1 day of being a Bodhi :p

He is a really great little guy, very cat-like, even at his young age… Loves to just lay around & soak in pettings. Today he started nudging my hand for more pettings!

Very beautiful shots! I think your photography is gorgeous, what camera do you use? Avery is lovely. I think Bodhi/Avery might also be a girl, pointier faces for holland lops and mini lops are normally female.

Don’t worry, I totally know what you mean. I always wanted bucks but end up getting does. Happened to me twice. Still love them to bits.

He is a boy, the breeder told me he was and I have checked a few times myself. English Lops just have rather pointy faces. I use a 5d Mark iii
