Hello, I adopted a gorgeous Flemish giant mix in November, the rescue thought he was about 1, and they had him neutered. He’s a n awesome bun, free in the upstairs of our home during the day. When I put him in his pen at night he poops all over. I know this is normal marking, but I thought it would have stopped by now! His future bunny wife is in a little room next to him, separated by a baby gate. They have yet to have to bond. He never poops anywhere else in the house. Any tips? Is it just habit now, maybe I should move his pen or change his carpet?

Mine does the same thing, though he isn’t free roam. Don’t know why they do it but I’m ok as long as it’s in the pen not the house. He’s 2 yrs old. He goes mostly in his box, but there are quite a number of droppings each a.m. He’s a giant chin
