Harvey has been on Baytril for a couple of days for a couple of days and today he has lost his appetite. Where he would usually destroy banana and carrot, he won’t touch it. He nibbles at basil and kale and has eaten a few pellets, and still turns into a rabid beast over craisins, but his appetite is nothing compared to what it should be. Currently standing by with syringes and pureed apple.

Healing vibes for my little dude please! Damn bunny, making me worry

His tummy could be out of sorts with the antibiotics. Do you have some critical care ? You can get some food into him with a syringe feed and possibly add a non dairy probiotic and something yummy like mashed banana or steamed pumpkin.

Roberta, yeah I figured that’s probably what it was. I had been on the lookout for it when he started the antibiotics coz I knew it’s a common problem, and he’s had tummy issues in the past. I don’t think I can get critical care here, but I syringed some pureed apple into him last night.

This morning he has been eating constantly, so I think we are on the mend. Yay!!
