How does your bunny(ies) react when the vacuum is run? Do they ignore it, run and hide, stomp their feet? The first time i ran the vacuum while pepper was in the room, he ran up to my 12 year old’s bedroom and hid under her bed for hours! That was the only time he did that. Now he just lays there watching me. I can vacuum practically right up to him and he doesn’t even flinch. a totally relaxed looking bunny.

Ha! Thought we were the only one. We could have driven a semi-truck an inch by one of our rabbits and she would not even move a muscle. I know she was thinkin’… “nope….not moovin’ for a human.” There was always a 2 foot by 2 foot rectangle left on our rug somewhere that didn’t get vacuumed because her highness wouldn’t budge, lol.

My buns hate the vacuum. When we had carpet in the rabbit room, they would zoom into their houses and stay there until I’m done.

Mine don’t like the upright vac but the lops love the shop vac — they like to stand behind it where the air blows out! We only use the shop vac for bunny area cleanup so maybe they like it because the air smells like a combination of hay and bunny poop?!?!

Chester hates the vacuum with a passion. Just getting the thing out in the open will end with him hiding somewhere…

BubblesJo–same with Pumpkin. All she has to do is see it to go running behind Rocky. Rocky couldn’t care less. More important things to worry about. Like hay. and Pumpkin.

the funny thing is this small rabbit has no concern over the vacuum. But my big 70-80lb dog is afraid of it LOL!

My rabbit also hates the vacuum. She will run away from it and thumps.
