Guys..i need help. Firstly its my fault to have trusted someone with my rabbit…but it happened so i wud rather rectify it than regret. i was away for a while and trusted my maid with taking care of my bunny for one and a Half week and it seems she kept her caged all the time in a much smaller cage which she got herself. irrespective of giving her proper instructions and money she kept her in captivity and my poor bun seems to have gone through a very bad time. When i saw her she was dripping wet in her own poo…fur from her feet and underbelly is yellow and peeling…at places i can see her skin…i will take her to tge vet tom…till then is there anything i can do

I think a visit to the emergency vet is in order.

Oh dear – well getting her into a dry area will help alot. Also you might try using some cornstarch to help soak up the wet spots on her fur.

Definitely get her to the vet as soon as you can as well.

I agree with Sarita, get your bunny set up so they can be dry will help. Definitely consult your vet to make sure something more serious isn’t going on. Perhaps they can clean your bunny up a little bit too.
