Winston was my first pet. I got him at the start of 2009. He was an extremely small dwarf lionhead with a cute little mohawk and Siamese markings.

He lived about 6.5 years. I was out of town for a week. Came back, everything was fine a day or two… next morning he didn’t come hopping up to me when I walked past in the living room. He was just dead. My dogs seem to be looking for their bro the past couple of days.

Here’s an album of him playing in the backyard with my dogs. You guys helped me get him settled when I first got him. Thanks for all the help!

        I’m sad.

            I’m sorry for your loss.

He looks so cute and so happy in the pics. What a great yard for dogs and bunny to play in! He seems to have had a very happy life with you.

It is very sad to lose a pet.

            Binky free, Winston.

I’m so sorry. My own bunny just crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 6.5 years old also.
I am sure they knew how much we loved them, and gave them the best life we possibly could.
                  Binky free, Winston.

So sorry to hear about the loss. Losing a pet is the pits.
I had to have my first bunny pit to sleep last year. Someone dumped her in the woods…my daughter found her, and with research and questions..I learned to properly care for a bunny, and made it my mission to give this sweetheart the greatest life ever. What I didn’t know until she went into GI Stasis was she also had advanced kidney disease, and was in extreme pain. I couldn’t deal with her suffering. So I decided to do the suffering because I’d lose her..but she would be relieved of any pain. I now have two more bunnies who are doing great and are treated like royalty..something good will come from your loss…and you know Winston thanks you for giving him a great life.
