I had to share this story because it was just too hilarious.

Every morning, we let our rabbit out of the cage for the entire day but the first thing we do when we open it up, is feed her her pellets. She knows this of course and whenever she leaves her cage, runs straight for the cabinet. She then proceeds to circle mine or my husbands feet endlessly until we open the cabinet and then she ALWAYS tries jumping in.

Today, my husband decided to see what would happen if he just let her run in circles. I think he thought she’d get it out of her system or give up. Nope. After running in circles repeatedly around his feet, suddenly she thumped once! Our bunny is the sweetest little rabbit but boy, she sure knows how to get what she wants!!  She’s only thumped before when she’s been spooked! I always knew she likes to act like a kid, but I never knew she’d “stomp her feet” to get what she wants!

I’m so glad I’ve had her for a few years now! If she had done this originally, I would’ve looked it up on a million bunny sites and worried that we made her really angry. Now, I’ve had her long enough to know nothing’s wrong and she’s just got a feisty attitude!

My husband was convinced she would only do this to him…so I tried the same thing the other day and she thumped at me too. She really takes breakfast seriously!!!
