It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here and I’m going to be on a lot more, but I wanted to share this with people, I’ve yet to share it on facebook…. But….

        We’re getting a new addition!

My friend came across a bunny who was being abused and this guy said he was going to shoot it so she basically gave him twenty bucks and took her, but between her girlfriend saying no, and the multiple ferrets she owns AND the dogs not liking her, she had to rehome her, so she came to me and well… Here we are. She really didn’t want to rehome her with anyone else and she knew I’d be the perfect candidate. I’ll be getting her this weekend probably. I am super excited! Once she’s spayed and healed, I’m going to bond her with the trouble buns.

        Also, obligatory pictures.

She looks so sweet! How could anyone abuse her? Glad she’ll be coming to live with you.

Thanks everyone! I’m super excited, my friend keeps sending me pictures and I’m just in love! They don’t actually know the gender, so we’ve just stuck with she for now, I’ll let everyone know the actual gender once I have her. I can’t wait until this weekend!

They’ve been calling her “Bun Bun” for now because my friend didn’t want to get attached, but I’m changing it because I call the Trouble Buns “Bun Bun” when I baby talk to them.

                  Welcome Back BD!

How awful that person must be to say he was going to shoot the bunny. Thank you so much for taking him in. The world needs more people like you.

                  He’s adorable.

She’s adorable, how could somebody abuse her? It’s amazing she’s getting a loving home now.

Today is the day! My friend gets off work at 4:30, it’s 3:07 now, it’ll take about an hour for her to drive here, and give her some time to get everything together. So we might not get her until closer to 6 or 7. I’m so impatient! I took a nasty spill off my skateboard on the first so I’m a bit banged up, (Nothing major, just nasty road burn on my arms and hands, and 6 stitches on my chin.) and this gives me something to look forward to through being in pain. lol

Also, my friend just posted this picture on facebook today with the caption “My bunny is going to her forever home tonight  I couldn’t be happier for her  no more pain or abuse just love and cuddles! What a wonderful easter for this little cuddle bun! ?”

Plans changed a bit, she got called into her second job so she had to work til 10, but she’s on her way now. She should be here any minute!

SHE’S SO TINY! Definitely a baby, probably less than 5 months old. We let her meet Duchess and Nala because my friend wanted to see, and Nala and Duchess both started grooming her immediately, hopefully this means that they’ll bond easily. The cage is temporary, just until she’s big enough to not slip through the bars of the xpen (I’m worried that she might.) Vet check soon, then we’ll find out when we can get her (or he) neutered. Also, as I type, Nala is chewing on the bars to baby’s cage, let baby free!

Duchess is a sucker for alfalfa hay and will do anything to get some… Even if it means stealing from a poor little baby, Nala’s on the other side, judging.

15 minutes in her cage and she’s already stood in her water dish, munched on some pellets and hay (Which is great!) and has annoyed me with the bell on her kabob toy. Now she’s throwing around one of those hay balls shaped like an apple… She’s already fitting right in with the Trouble Buns.

Hey MegaBunny. I think you may have commented on the wrong post accidentally.

But, here’s more photos of the new trouble bun. (She keeps eating my carpet! Trip to the store is in the future to find something to cover it. ) Also, she keeps binkying into her bowls and knocking them over! The little rascal.  (EDIT: Also, I decided to try the xpen anyway, because Baby likes to rattle her cage bars.)

My thoughts: *Please don’t try to jump the xpen.* (Repeat 20-30 times.)

                                                Nala keeps eating Baby’s pellets.

All three of my babies. <3

And Baby and Nala sleeping beside each other.

She looks like she is mixed with a rex/mini rex.

LBJ: I know! I can’t wait to get her spayed so I can start bonding them. And I was thinking the same thing. She’s very plush, just like a rex.

Also, I forgot how much rabbit pee smells when they’re not spayed/neutered. I’m using the same exact stuff I use in the trouble bun’s boxes and it smells absolutely horrible. Ick!

She’s so tiny compared to Nala. It’s so cute how they’ve just accepted her so quickly (the extra pellets probably help).

MissGabbster: She really is! I looked at her in the carrier when my friend brought her over and I was like “OH MY GOODNESS, SHE’S SO TINY.”  And yeah, Nala keeps pulling the bowl closer by hitting it with her paws through the bars, they don’t get many pellets, so they go crazy over them.

Baby keeps flopping and getting up, binkying, then flopping again, but she’s been laying beside Nala for at least 30 minutes.

I always preach it, but I forgot JUST how bad they are. And not to mention, now Nala’s angry and has peed on my bed TWICE while i was sleeping. I hate to stick Nala and Duchess in their cage at night, but washing my bedding every day is just not in the cards.

It’s a gender neutral name and I REALLY wanted to name her/him instead of just calling her/him “baby” or “little one” I’m currently very obsessed with “The 100” so it was either going to be “Lexa” for a girl, but I have an ex with the same name  or “Jasper” for a boy. But then I was like “You know what? Clarke is a total bada**. Clarke is a good name.” So here we have, Clarke Kom Bunkru. :’)  (“Clarke, of the bunny people.” For those who don’t know, the show has it’s own language, Trigedasleng. And I am a huge nerd.)
