Hi I am new here so I am not sure if I posted this in the right category.

Would it be possible for a baby Netherland dwarf and a baby Angora/Mini Lop cross to live together? I am not breeding them but was planning to have them as companions for each other (they will be neutered later on).

        Is this a bad idea?

Both buns should be neutered before any introductions are made (you could see some severe territorial behavior and aggression otherwise). Any two buns can be bonded–doesn’t matter the breed!

Ditto on the neutering. It’s more about personality, than breed or age.

Oh yup I will neuter them as soon as they are ready. They are both just 2 months old and I’ll be taking them to the vet when I get them. Is there a certain age that they are ready for neutering? I hear for girls its around 4-6 months?? And for boys as soon as their balls drop? Or does it depend on the bun?
