My boyfriend and I decided a few months ago that we should start introducing his cat (Leia/female) to my rabbit (Jude/male) and the first meeting went okay. They played and took turns chasing each other and neither one was dominant or being mean an any way. Their second meeting was yesterday and the second we put Jude down and let him out of his carrier he started chasing Leia. When Leia does play back she doesn’t use her paws and sometimes doesn’t touch him at all. She will go to jump or run at him but then back off before she gets to him. Jude, however, is very playful and does binkies around Leia and runs circles around her and chases her. It’s a very funny thing to watch. The only problem we’ve had so far is getting Jude to venture into the second level of his Leith Petwerks 2 level bunny abode. I’ve tried (when it’s time for his vegetables) leaving small pieces of vegetables leading up to the stairs and to his plate of vegetables but he only goes to the second step…Also he peed on my  boyfriends carpet in one spot and we got it up just fine but he’s never peed out of his litter box..ever. Not even right when I got him. The floor in my room is wood so I’m thinking that the carpet may have just felt similar to his litter but idk..He’s never even peed on towels and blankets that I lay out for him. He is neutered but could it still be him marking his territory?

All the Leith condos I’ve seen have ramps. Are the steps something new?

it is a ramp but it has wooden (I guess the correct word is knobs?) on the ramp and he will only go to the second one on the ramp. Going up the ramp is similar to steps though
