I’ve noticed lately Patrick has been eating more cardboard than hay, I gave him a box to sleep and hide in and he’s chewed it up alot as well as the other cardboard i’ve given him in his run, when I let him out, if he finds a box that I store books and such in, he’s chewed the crap out of them…

Is that much cardboard that good for him?

No! Lol! But honestly cardboard is better than most other things he could chew on in your home, ha ha ha!
Not so much now (and I really don’t know why?) but Henry ate so much cardboard that it became part of his daily diet. Considering what else he ate, like my bedding, my pj’s (while I was wearing them and asleep – GASP!) anything electrical, dog food (ooop’s! He still eats the dog food!), my cane bed and cane chest….. When it came to the cardboard I let him be. Now he barely touches it? Maybe cause he thought he was being naughty and when I let him he thought ‘this is no fun’! Ha ha ha…..

As long as your offering pellets, hay and veggies/salad daily, I wouldn’t be concerned about the cardboard.
Considering most of our bunny’s eat cardboard, I personally have never been really worried about it…..

          Cheers Patrick!

Most rabbits eat cardboard. I’m going to second AndHenry and say that as long as he’s also eating his normal food, I wouldn’t worry too much.

Make sure the cardboard you give him has no glue or ink on it.
